Nikki is a passionate teacher who has been part of the education system for the past 18 years. She has taught from the smallest learner up until Grade 9, gaining as much experience as possible. She obtained her teaching degree in 2009 at the University of Pretoria and specialised in Early Childhood Development and Special Needs Education. While teaching in mainstream education, Nikki's heart has always gravitated towards helping children who stand out of society's 'normal' box.
After moving to Hartbeespoort in 2020, a very special little boy inspired her to do something for the community. This is to help provide a safe space for children who struggle in mainstream education environments. She believes that this safe space will allow every child an equal opportunity to thrive and become the best they can be. Nikki is also currently completing her Honours in Educational Leadership and Management.
